Uzbekistan sent another 71-person aid group to Turkey

11216An additional group of 71 search and rescue and medical personnel was sent from Uzbekistan to the earthquake-hit regions of Turkey. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
According to the order of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a special ship from the country reached the city of Gaziantep, Turkey, in order to provide emergency aid to the victims of the earthquake.
Along with an additional search-rescue and medical team of 71 people, the next batch of humanitarian aid was brought on board.
In order to help the victims, it is planned to place a mobile hospital complex consisting of nine separate units on an area of one hectare, where 50 employees of the medical detachment of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan will serve.
This field hospital is fully equipped with all necessary medical equipment and medicines.
It should be recalled that on 7 February, a rescue team of 100 people from Uzbekistan arrived in Turkey.
