Ekaterina Shubina, a member of Uzbekistan's national kayaking team, earned a berth at the Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games, as announced by the National Olympic Committee (NOC).
She clinched a silver medal in the 500-meter individual event at the Licensed Asian Championship in Japan, ensuring her qualification for the Olympics. This brings Uzbekistan's total Olympic berths for Paris-2024 to 29.
It was previously noted that two Uzbek freestyle wrestlers contributed two Olympic berths to the Uzbek delegation.
