Daniil Yeybog has an unsuccessful start at the Olympics

Late on the night of February 15, Uzbek short-track speed skater Daniil Yeybog competed at the Winter Olympic Games in Italy. He eventually reached the B final and finished the competition in 14th place overall.
He successfully advanced from the quarterfinal round of the 1,500-meter event. Yeybog finished third in his heat with a time of 2:16.963, securing a place in the semifinals.
In the semifinal, the Uzbek skater again finished third in his group with a time of exactly 2 minutes and 18 seconds.
Unfortunately, this result was not enough to qualify for the A final, and he moved to the B final to compete for positions 10–16. In the B final, Yeybog finished fifth.
With this result, he concluded his performance in the event in 14th place overall.
