Most privileged enterprises in Uzbekistan were revealed

According to the end of the 1st half of 2024, the enterprises that received the most tax and customs benefits in Uzbekistan were announced. This was reported by the Anti-Corruption Agency.

It is noted that the total value of tax and customs benefits amounted to 63.4 trillion soums (127.1 trillion soums in 2023). That is, so many funds are left at the disposal of enterprises and organizations. Out of 63.5 trillion soums of benefits, 39.0 trillion soums are taxes, and 24.4 trillion soums are customs benefits.

The top 35 organizations that have used the most privileges, except for Navoi and Olmalik mining and metallurgical combines and banks, are as follows (in billion soums):

UzGasTrade, which performs the function of centralized purchase and sale of natural gas in Uzbekistan, used benefits worth 1.1 trillion soums in the first half of the year.

During the reporting period, UzAirways used 1.08 trillion soums and Uztemiryollar 558 billion soums of tax benefits. Asia Trans Gas, the operator of the part of the Central Asia-China gas pipeline network passing through Uzbekistan, has used benefits worth 462.7 billion soums.

About 570 billion soums of customs concessions were granted to Enter Engineering in January-June.

"Uzbektelecom" is the Uzbek branch of the Masdar company (UAE), which is building a wind power plant worth 432 billion soums. Shamol Zarafshon Energy has received a benefit worth 375 billion soums. Holos customs broker used customs benefits worth 315 billion soums.

For 6 months, UzAuto Motors received 317 billion soums of benefits, and BYD Uzbekistan Factory received 274 billion soums of customs benefits.
