Enterprise that stole electricity worth 7.5 billion sums was found in Tashkent

In the city of Tashkent, a limited liability company (LLC) that illegally used electricity worth 7.5 billion sums by tampering with the electricity meter has been discovered. This was reported by the Inspection for the Control of the Use of Electric Energy, Oil Products, and Gas.

The LLC, identified as "K.I." and located in the Yashnabad district, was found to have illegally consumed electricity by influencing the electricity meter.

As a result of this violation, preliminary calculations revealed that the electricity supply company suffered a loss of 7 billion 528 million sums.

"Relevant documents have been prepared and sent to law enforcement agencies," the report stated.

It is worth noting that earlier, in the Jizzakh region, a shop that had stolen electricity worth 1.1 billion sums was discovered. Additionally, in the Sharof Rashidov district, it was revealed that S.O., a citizen, was involved in illegal activities at a gate-making workshop.
