10055The statistical agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan says that the average salary in 2022 increased by 21.1% compared to 2021 and amounted to 3.8 million soms. This was reported by the agency in its report prepared for January-December 2022.
According to the report, the highest salary in the regions of the republic corresponds to the city of Tashkent, and the average salary in the capital is 6 million 300 thousand soms.
Another high figure corresponds to the Navoi regions - 5.1 million soms.
Also, in the Tashkent region, this indicator is 3 million 946 thousand soms, in the Andijan region it is 3 million 381 thousand soms and in Bukhara 3 million 310 thousand soms, in Karakalpakstan 3 million 246 thousand soms, in Syrdarya 3 million 221 thousand soms.
According to the statistics agency, the lowest salary in the republic was recorded in the Fergana region, and the average monthly salary in the region is 2.9 million soms.
The highest salary in Uzbekistan was 10,817.1 thousand soms corresponding to the sphere of banking, insurance, leasing, credit, and mediation activities. Also, the information and communication sector is 7,556.4 thousand soms, the transportation, and storage sector is 5,079.8 thousand soms, and the industrial sector is 4,920.0 thousand soms, which is higher than the average monthly salary.
The lowest figure corresponds to the education sector and is 2 million 700 thousand soms. The monthly salary in the health and social services sectors is also low, and this figure is 2 million 611 thousand soms.
