Another street in Tashkent to be closed for 5 months

Vehicle traffic on Karasaroy Street in the Almazar district of Tashkent will be suspended for five months, the city administration has announced.  

Due to construction and repair work, traffic on Karasaroy Street will be temporarily restricted. The closure will affect the section from the intersection with Abdulla Qodiriy Street to the intersection with Nurafshon Street.  

The work is scheduled to begin on April 2 and will continue until September.  

“We apologize for the temporary inconvenience and recommend that drivers use alternative routes and plan their journeys in advance,” the announcement stated.  

Previously, Shofayzi Street in the Shaykhontohur district was closed to traffic from March 21 to May 1. Additionally, the section from the intersection of "Uzbekistan Voice" Street with Shastri Street to Yahya Gulomov Street has been closed from March 27 to April 30.
