It was revealed that part of the archaeological monument "Chordangitepa" dating back to the X-XII centuries, located in the Kashkadarya region, was demolished and a house was built arbitrarily in its place.  This was reported by the Press Service of the Prosecutor General's Office.

It is noted that a part of the archaeological monument "Chordangitepa" which dates back to the X-XII centuries, located in the Yakkabog district, was owned by citizen M.F. was demolished and a house was built in its place.  315 million soms worth of damage was caused to the interests of the state through this case.

In addition, a part of the "Nomsiztepa" archaeological monument dating back to the VI-VII centuries in the Samarkand district was destroyed by unknown persons.  As a result, a huge amount of damage amounting to 1.5 billion soms was caused to the interests of the state.

According to the results of the investigation, criminal cases have been initiated and investigations are underway.

Earlier, we reported that the medieval archaeological monument "O’rdatepa" in the Namangan region was demolished and a house was built arbitrarily in its place.
