Driver of Labo dies in Qashqadaryo traffic accident

A collision between a Labo and a Nexia-3 in Qarshi, Qashqadaryo region, resulted in the death of the Labo driver. This was reported by the press service of the Regional Department of Internal Affairs' Road Traffic Safety Administration.

The incident occurred on July 10 of this year. It was noted that the Labo driver lost control of the vehicle while trying to avoid a collision with a Lacetti emerging from a side street. The Labo then crossed a concrete barrier in the middle of the road and collided with an oncoming vehicle.

Despite receiving medical treatment at the hospital, the Labo driver succumbed to severe injuries.

"A criminal case has been initiated under Article 266, Part 2 of the Criminal Code (Violation of Traffic Safety Rules or Operation of Transport Vehicles). Investigations are currently underway," the report stated.

It should be recalled that earlier in Tashkent, a 24-year-old Spark driver hit a 64-year-old woman at a pedestrian crossing.
