The initial price of AI-92 gasoline produced at the Bukhara Oil Refinery has been reduced to 9,400 soums per liter on the stock exchange. This was reported on August 11 by the press service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
It was noted that, as part of the implementation of the instruction of the Head of State to provide the population with affordable and high-quality fuel, work is underway to gradually lower the price of AI-92 gasoline at the Bukhara Oil Refinery.
This step is an important part of Uzbekneftegaz JSC’s strategy to maintain stability in the fuel market and ensure access to high-quality gasoline. As part of the strategy, production processes have been optimized and comprehensive cost-reduction measures introduced. At the same time, gasoline production volumes have increased, enabling price reductions.
As a result, the initial stock market price for one ton of AI-92 gasoline produced at the Bukhara Refinery has been reduced from 12 million 881 thousand soums to 12 million 628 thousand soums in the first stage. This corresponds to 9,400 soums per liter.
“This is not only a favorable price for consumers but also has a positive effect on the entire market. Uzbekneftegaz will continue working to gradually lower prices for high-octane fuel to develop the domestic market and protect consumer interests,” the company said in a statement.
It is worth noting that earlier, the Russian government completely banned gasoline exports starting from August this year.
