An underground tunnel connecting Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan is discovered

An underground tunnel connecting Kyrgyzstan with Uzbekistan has been discovered in the village of Telman in Qorasuv district of Osh region, Kyrgyzstan.  This was reported by local media outlets, citing the reports by the state National Security Committee of Kyrgyzstan.

The tunnel is 15 meters deep, the entrance to the tunnel is 1.8 meters and its width is 1.5 meters, the distance from the entrance to the borderline is 40 meters, and from the entrance to the exit 270 meters long.

The owner of the plot of land “M.A.M” in which the tunnel above was identified, is planned to undergo a medical examination of his mental health due to the fact that he is currently hospitalized in Kyzyl-Jar psychiatric hospital in the Jalal-Abad region.

At the same time, weapons and criminal objects have been seized.
