On March 18, a delegation led by Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister, Bakhtiyor Saidov, embarked on an official trip to Hanoi, Vietnam's capital. Ahror Burkhonov, the minister's press secretary, confirmed this information.

According to Burkhonov, the Minister's agenda in Vietnam encompasses negotiations and engagements with various organizational leaders, alongside participation in the Uzbekistan-Vietnam business forum.

It's noteworthy that since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1992, this marks the first visit by Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister to Vietnam.

Previously, Bakhtiyor Saidov journeyed to Afghanistan, where he held discussions with the interim government's leadership.
