Previously, a video circulated on social networks showing a Turkish tourist upgrading his ordinary train seat to a more comfortable one in exchange for a bribe of 100,000 soums. In an official statement, "Uzbekistan Railways" JSC acknowledged their inability to identify the employee involved.

The statement read, "Yesterday, some social networks conducted an investigation into the incident where a Turkish tourist paid money to a car attendant to upgrade from his current train car to a higher class one on the Andijan passenger train. However, the video lacked essential details, such as the specific date, train, and car, making it impossible to establish the circumstances or identify the responsible employee."

It's worth noting that a Dutch tourist-blogger had previously changed his seat on a train for $15, resulting in the dismissal of the train manager. In response to QALAMPIR.UZ, the blogger expressed his regret over the employee's termination and criticized "Uzbekistan Railways" JSC
