Uzbekistan national team to compete in international tournament this November

The Uzbekistan Football Association has announced that the national team will participate in an international friendly tournament to be held in Dubai during the FIFA November international window.

According to the Association, the competition will feature four national teams — Uzbekistan, Iran, Egypt, and Cape Verde — all of which have previously taken part in the FIFA World Cup. The matches will be hosted at Al Maktoum Stadium, home to the Al-Nasr Football Club.

In the opening round of the tournament, Uzbekistan will face Egypt, while Iran will play against Cape Verde. The winners of these matches will meet in the final of the mini-tournament.

All games are scheduled to kick off at 22:00 Tashkent time.

It is worth noting that earlier reports indicated that the Egyptian national team was close to reaching an agreement to participate in this friendly competition.
