Ambassador of Uzbekistan presents the credentials to the President of Kazakhstan

On September 12, 2024, the newly appointed Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Ibragimov, officially presented his credentials to the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The ceremony was held at the President's residence in Akorda, as reported by the "Dunyo" news agency.

During the ceremony, Ambassador Ibragimov addressed President Tokayev in Kazakh, marking a gesture of respect and diplomacy. Alongside him, ambassadors from Spain, Estonia, Sudan, Rwanda, the Dominican Republic, and Mauritius also presented their credentials.

President Tokayev welcomed the new ambassadors, emphasizing the importance of their roles in fostering and strengthening bilateral relations. He also highlighted the key priorities of Kazakhstan's foreign policy and wished the ambassadors success in their diplomatic missions.

Bakhtiyor Ibragimov arrived in Kazakhstan's capital on September 1, 2024. He succeeds Saidikrom Niyozkhujaev, who served as Uzbekistan's ambassador to Kazakhstan from 2018 to 2024.
