Uzbekistan establishes diplomatic relations with Botswana

3130Uzbekistan has officially established diplomatic relations with Botswana, a South African country. This announcement was made by Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov on his Telegram channel.
The joint communique was signed by Bakhtiyor Saidov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, and Lemogang Kwape, the Head of the Foreign Ministry of Botswana, during a meeting in New York.
"We appreciate Botswana's rapid economic growth over the years. We have agreed to develop active cooperation between representatives of the public and private sectors of the two countries," said Saidov.
It is noteworthy that this follows Uzbekistan's earlier establishment of diplomatic relations with the Seychelles.
