Uzbekistan is building a madrasa in Afghanistan

9446A madrasa is being constructed in the Balkh region of Afghanistan at the initiative of the government of Uzbekistan. This was reported by the Ministry of Higher Education of the Taliban government in Afghanistan.
Sheikh ul Hadis Mawlavi Nida Muhammad Nadem, the Acting Minister of Higher Education of Afghanistan, met with the Ambassador of Uzbekistan in Kabul, Yodgorkhoja Shodmanov, on July 16, 2024. They discussed issues related to improving scientific relations between the two countries. During the meeting, Muhammad Nadem noted that Uzbekistan has consistently supported Afghanistan in various fields, especially in higher education.
The acting minister also expressed gratitude to the ambassador for the madrasa being built by Uzbekistan in the Balkh region and emphasized the importance of continuing such cooperation.
Furthermore, Ambassador Shodmanov provided detailed information to the minister about his plans, including those related to higher education, leading to an exchange of views between the two sides.
