Uzbek citizen accused of child sexual exploitation deported from the US

17664An Uzbek citizen convicted of selling children for sexual exploitation has been deported from the United States. The US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency made the announcement on its Instagram page.
According to the report, the Uzbek citizen, identified as M.A., was found guilty of three offenses related to the sale of children for sexual exploitation. After serving his prison sentence, he was deported back to Uzbekistan by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The US Department of Homeland Security also highlighted the ongoing national campaign “Know2Protest,” which is part of the fight against such crimes. This program is designed to protect and inform children, adolescents, parents, and adults about sexual abuse and exploitation on the internet.
It should be noted that on April 7, US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau met with Abdulaziz Kamilov, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Uzbekistan, in Washington. During the meeting, Landau expressed gratitude to Uzbekistan for its continued cooperation in combating illegal immigration.
