Uzbekistan sends a 58-ton humanitarian aid package to the Afghan people

5793Uzbekistan delivered another humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, consisting of 58 tons of cargo. This was reported by the government (khokimiyat) of the Surkhandarya region.
“On the instructions of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the following humanitarian cargo of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the amount of 58 tons of necessary food products for the brotherly Afghan people was delivered to the Kaldar district in the north of the Balkh district of the neighboring country across the border checkpoint of Khairaton" – the report said.
This time, unlike the previous ones, assistance was distributed to families themselves living in difficult social conditions.
Humanitarian assistance for 420 families includes 50 kilograms of flour, 25 kilograms of rice, 10 kilograms of sugar, 10 liters of oil, 10 cans of soup, 10 cans of jam, 2 boxes of pasta, and 2 boxes of noodles.
