6870The "Uzavtosanoat" joint-stock company recently announced the addition of two new vice-chairmen to its board, as reported on the company's official website.
Alexander Aleksandrovich Sakhapov has been named as the deputy chairman responsible for trade development and marketing, while Davron Abdulfattahovich Hidoyatov assumes the role of deputy chairman overseeing investment and development matters.
To provide context, Alexander Sakhapov, born in 1982 and a graduate of the Tashkent Institute of Highways, previously served as the managing director of sales and car service at UzAuto Motors. His tenure at "Uzavtosanoat" and UzAuto Motors spans back to 2003, where he held various roles, including chief specialist and head of mechanical engineering sectors at the Department of Information and Analysis of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan, focusing on mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aviation industry, and product standardization.
Davron Hidoyatov, born in 1976, holds degrees from Tashkent State Polytechnic University, Tashkent State University of Economics, and the Academy of Banking and Finance of Uzbekistan.
Prior to his appointment, Hidoyatov served as the mayor of Chirchik in the Tashkent region. His professional background includes management roles at UzTruck and Bus Motors (formerly JV MAN Auto-Uzbekistan) and financial affairs at UzAuto Motors (formerly General Motors Uzbekistan). Additionally, he gained banking experience, notably leading Asia Invest Bank in Moscow. His governmental roles include chairmanship of the State Committee for Assistance to Privatized Enterprises, Elimination of Monopoly, and Development of Competition, as well as serving as mayor of Tashkent region after holding various positions in Tashkent city's administration.
It's worth noting that in March of the previous year, Shavkat Umurzoqov, former head of "Uzavtosanoat," assumed the position of acting mayor of Tashkent city. He was succeeded by Ulugbek Roziqulov, the ambassador of Uzbekistan to Indonesia and Vietnam, who took over as chairman of the board of the national airline "Uzbekistan Airlines".
