A new governor is appointed to the city of Urganch

A new governor has been appointed to the city of Urganch. Bunyod Rajabov Madrimovich has been appointed as the mayor of Urganch, as reported by the Khorezm regional government.
Today, on November 11, Bunyod Rajabov was confirmed as the mayor of Urganch at an extraordinary session of the Urganch City Council.

Before his appointment, he served as the head of the Probation Service of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

We would like to remind you that Oybek Kholboyev Madaminovich, the former mayor of Urganch, has been appointed as the mayor of the Shavot district. It is noteworthy that Kholboyev held the position of mayor of Urganch from 2018 to 2020, replacing Shuhrat Abdullayev, who was imprisoned for 3 years. Additionally, Oybek Kholboyev has previously served as the mayor of the Bogot district.
