A man evading alimony payments for four years was found at a chicken farm in Khorezm

A person wanted for over four years for failing to pay alimony has been arrested in the Khorezm region, as reported by UzA.

According to the Urganch Inter-District Court on Civil Affairs, the debtor, K.A., was ordered to pay alimony to his ex-spouse for the support of one of his children.

On March 12, 2020, a search warrant was issued for him by the state bailiff of the Takhiatosh district branch of the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement due to his avoidance of alimony payments. By May 1 of this year, his arrears had reached 101 million soums.

According to reports, the man was living with his second family in the Urganch district of the Khorezm region. The debtor, who had been evading authorities for over four years, was found working on a chicken farm in Urganch district.

"An administrative report has been filed against the debtor, and the gathered documents have been forwarded to the Takhiatash district court for criminal cases. On May 6 of this year, this court sentenced the debtor, K.A., to 15 days of administrative detention," the report states.

It is worth noting that a woman who wanted to evade alimony payments was previously found in a cafeteria in Tashkent.
