President awards Khorezm farmer and Tashkent peasant

4614President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has awarded the Order of Friendship to Egamberdi Sultanovich Sobirov, head of the Sultanboy Khanimjon farm in the Khanka district of Khorezm region, and Tulkinjon Nosirovich Mansurov, owner of a personal plot in the Akkurgan district of Tashkent region. The relevant presidential decrees were published today, March 18.
The Khorezm farmer was honored for his many years of dedicated work in Uzbekistan’s agricultural sector, his significant contributions to improving the melioration of arable land under challenging conditions through modern agricultural techniques, and his success in achieving high cotton and grain yields. He was also recognized for his role in establishing a diversified farming operation, creating new jobs, enhancing public welfare, and actively participating in community affairs.
The award for the Akkurgan farmer acknowledges his contributions to homestead farming, particularly in vegetable cultivation and beekeeping. He was recognized for ensuring the well-being of the population through the production of abundant, high-quality crops, setting an example of efficiency and innovation in land use, and sharing his expertise. Additionally, he was commended for his efforts in educating young people about patriotism, independence, and active civic engagement.
It is worth noting that earlier this year, President Mirziyoyev awarded the Order of Friendship to Genzhimurat Turdimuratov, a farmer from Karakalpakstan, on January 30, and to Bahrom Kayumovich Raupov, an entrepreneur from Surkhandarya, on February 7, for their contributions to agriculture and economic development.
