The Omani embassy in Uzbekistan has announced that citizens of Uzbekistan can now stay in Oman without a visa for up to 14 days.

Uzbek citizens wishing to stay in Oman for longer than 14 days can obtain an entry visa upon arrival at the airport.

As a reference, according to a presidential decree from February 9, 2021, aimed at enhancing domestic and pilgrimage tourism, Uzbekistan introduced a 10-day visa-free regime for Omani citizens starting from March 1, 2021.

Previously, it was reported that Thailand increased the number of countries whose citizens can enter without a visa for up to 60 days from 57 to 93, including Uzbekistan among the 36 new additions. The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Bangkok has reached out to the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs for clarification. However, the Consular Department of Thailand's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not yet officially announced any extension of the visa regime.
