Teacher who received $6,600 for enrollment was caught

Illegal activities related to enrollment and certificate issuance were detected during operations conducted in various regions of Uzbekistan, according to the State Security Service.

A school teacher from Kushtepa district was apprehended in a swift operation in the Fergana region while receiving $6,600 for enrolling three citizens from the Yozyovon district into the Kadamjoy branch of Kyrgyz State University.

In another case, a teacher from the State University of Physical Education and Sports of Uzbekistan was caught red-handed receiving $5,000 in exchange for enrolling a resident of Amudarya district into Urganch State University. The operation continued, leading to the capture of his accomplice, a specialist from the same university, who was also caught with physical evidence while receiving the money.

A resident of Termez city, born in 1989, was apprehended during an operation in the Surkhandarya region while receiving $2,400 and 1,250,000 soums in exchange for delivering an C1 level English language certificate to a compatriot.

Currently, criminal cases have been initiated against all these individuals, and investigations are ongoing.
