Uchkun Kuronboev won the bronze medal at the Paralympics

Uzbekistan's Uchkun Kuronboev competed for a bronze medal in the para-judo competition at the 2024 Paris Summer Paralympics held in France.

Kuronboev, who competed in the men's J2 class in the -73 kg weight category, faced Kim Dongguan in the bronze medal match and secured another bronze medal for the delegation.

As a result, the delegation's medal count has reached 9 gold, 7 silver, and 6 bronze. The delegation now ranks 12th overall with a total of 22 medals.

Let's also remember that Kumush Khujaeva from Uzbekistan won a silver medal in the J2 class in the -57 kg weight category during the para-judo competitions at the Paralympic Games.
