At the XXXIII Olympiad and XVII Paralympiad held in Paris, France, the Uzbekistan delegation achieved several notable milestones connected to the number 13.
Specifically, both the Olympic and Paralympic delegations of Uzbekistan secured 13th place overall in their respective competitions. Uzbek athletes also won a total of 13 medals at the Olympics.
The number of female athletes from Uzbekistan who earned medals at both the Olympic and Paralympic Games was 13, as was the number of male athletes who medaled at the Paralympic Games.
It is worth recalling that the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, previously remarked that Uzbekistan holds the number 13 in high regard.
