Under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a video conference was held to discuss preparations for the spring planting season and enhancing waste management under the "Green Space" initiative. Sherzod Asadov, the presidential spokesperson, provided details about the meeting.
The President emphasized the scrutiny of regional and district governors overseeing construction, public services, and environmental matters, resulting in disciplinary actions against 28 officials.
Specifically, deputy governors from Kasbi, Karshi, and Toraqorgon districts were terminated, and a warning was issued to district governors and deputy governors in six regions and other officials. Additionally, probationary periods were implemented for all heads of environmental departments
