Authorities identify individuals responsible for selling 25.8 kg of “hashish” imported from Tajikistan

The State Security Service reported the confiscation of drugs imported from Tajikistan in the Fergana and Surkhandarya regions.

Two local residents of the Surkhandarya region, both born in 1999 and related to each other, received 11 kg 942 g of "hashish" from a Tajik drug dealer via detours. They were arrested while attempting to hide the drugs under an alder tree near a wedding hall in the Shorchi district. Additionally, a resident of Uzun district, born in 1987, was caught trying to retrieve the hidden drugs.

In the Fergana region, three residents of Fergana city, born in 1974 and 1988, were stopped in a Tracker car in the Baghdad district while carrying 11 kg 966 g of "hashish". They were processed according to procedural rules. Meanwhile, a couple from Fergana city, born in 1990 and 1993, who were following in another car and were the actual owners of the drugs, were also arrested. They had purchased the smuggled substance from a woman born in 1986 living in Qoqon, who was also detained.

Moreover, a Nexia car was stopped in Qoshtepa district, and it was found to contain 1 kg 941 g of "hashish" belonging to a woman born in 1997 from Qoqon, who was traveling as a passenger. She had purchased the drug from another woman in Qoqon and intended to sell it in Margilon.
