Man caught growing 45 cannabis plants at home in Jizzakh

In the Jizzakh region, a man was arrested for cultivating 45 cannabis plants in a 2-square-meter area of his yard. The incident was reported by the Regional Police Department.
As part of the “Safe and Healthy Nation” campaign, law enforcement officers conducted an operation in the Hamid Olimjon neighborhood of Jizzakh city. During the operation, D.S., born in 1974, was detained and subjected to a personal search, which revealed 2 grams of hashish in his possession.
Further inspection of D.S.’s residence and auxiliary facilities uncovered the 45 cannabis plants being carefully cultivated in his yard.
Earlier, during the same “Safe and Healthy Nation” preventive campaign, police in Samarqand region’s Narpay district discovered another individual growing 51 narcotic plants at their home.
