Fatal crash in Fergana: Theater director loses control of vehicle

On April 20, the director of the Fergana State Musical Drama Theater, identified as S.M., was involved in a traffic accident while driving a Nexia-3 late at night. The crash resulted in the death of 56-year-old theater employee B.Sh., according to reports from QALAMPIR.UZ.
The Regional Traffic Safety Department confirmed that the accident occurred at 10:00 PM in Fergana city. S.M., born in 1986, lost control of the vehicle and collided with a concrete pillar on the roadside. The passenger, B.Sh., sustained severe injuries and later died in the hospital.
Earlier, on April 15, a similar incident occurred in Namangan region’s Yangi Namangan district, involving two eighth-grade students. They rented a Spark car for eight hours and crashed into a concrete barrier while driving at high speed. Both students suffered injuries and were hospitalized.
