An earthquake that struck Tajikistan on June 10 was felt in several parts of Uzbekistan, according to the Seismoprognostic Monitoring Republican Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The earthquake was recorded on June 10 at 08:14 Tashkent time in Tajikistan. It was located at 37.81 degrees north latitude and 68.13 degrees east longitude, with a magnitude of 4.9 and a depth of 120 km. The epicenter was 395 km southwest of Tashkent.

The intensity felt in various regions of Uzbekistan was as follows:

  • Shorchi district: 2 points, 28 km
  • Uzun district: 2 points, 39 km
  • Qumqorgon district: 2 points, 49 km
  • Altinsoy district: 2 points, 54 km
  • Denov district: 2 points, 63 km
  • Jarqorgon district: 2 points, 68 km
  • Bandikhon district: 2 points, 69 km
  • Qiziriq district: 2 points, 81 km
  • Termiz district: 2 points, 83 km
  • Boysun district: 2 points, 90 km
  • Angor district: 2 points, 91 km
  • Termiz city: 2 points, 100 km
