Earthquake in Tajikistan was felt again in Surkhandarya

On June 11, an earthquake originating in Tajikistan was also felt in Uzbekistan, according to the Seismoprognostic Monitoring Republican Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The earthquake struck Tajikistan on June 11 at 09:13 Tashkent time.

The coordinates of the earthquake were 37.76 degrees north latitude and 68.15 degrees east longitude. It had a magnitude of 4.3 and a depth of 25 km. The epicenter was 400 km southwest of Tashkent.

The earthquake's impact in various regions of Uzbekistan was as follows:

  • Uzun district: 2 points, 45 km from the epicenter.
  • Qumqorgon district: 2 points, 52 km from the epicenter.
