Fire breaks out at car service center in Tashkent

Today, June 11, a fire broke out at a car service center in Tashkent, according to reports from the city’s Fire and Rescue Department (FVD).

At 1:24 p.m., the DES received a report of a fire at a car service center located across from a car dealership in Tashkent’s Sergeli District 6a.

Four fire-rescue crews arrived at the scene at 1:33 p.m. The fire was contained by 1:44 p.m. and fully extinguished by 1:51 p.m.

The fire damaged the interior of the car service center and three cars inside.

"The cause of the fire and the extent of the material damage are currently being investigated. No injuries or fatalities have been reported. City and district DES leaders are on the scene," the report stated.

It is worth noting that yesterday, June 10, at 8:10 a.m., a fire was reported in cables near the Ministry of Internal Affairs building, disrupting passport and address-related services provided by government agencies.
