A passenger bus catches fire in Tashkent

Reports on social networks indicated that the incident occurred at the bus station near the "Kipchak" metro station in the Yangi Hayot district of Tashkent city. The official information about this situation was provided by the information service of the "Toshshahartranskhizmat" joint-stock company.

It was reported that on November 13, 2022, a MAN bus manufactured in 2022 experienced a short circuit in the electrical wiring unit located behind the driver's seat, leading to a fire. Fire rescue units arrived at the scene at 16:36 and successfully extinguished the fire.

The report assured that there were no casualties or injuries resulting from the incident.

Currently, the employees of the Production Technical Department of "Toshshahartranskhizmat" JSC are conducting a service inspection.

It is worth noting that on November 8 of this year, a passenger car caught fire following an accident involving an ISUZU bus and a Cobalt in the city of Almalyk, Tashkent region.
