Son stabs his father in Tashkent

In Tashkent, a son who was beaten by his father stabbed him with a kitchen knife in a state of emotional distress. This was reported by Hayot Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the Prosecutor General's Office, in response to a request from QALAMPIR.UZ.

According to the report, the incident occurred on December 13 in the Uchtepa district. A man born in 1974, residing in the 11th district of Chilonzor, came home intoxicated, argued with his son (born in 2002), and physically assaulted him without provocation. In response, the son, overwhelmed with emotional agitation, stabbed his father once in the abdomen using a kitchen knife. Unfortunately, the father succumbed to his injuries.

The Uchtepa district internal affairs department has initiated a criminal case under Article 104 (Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm) Part 3, Clause "d" of the Criminal Code. The suspect has been detained in accordance with legal procedures.

It should be recalled that earlier in Tashkent, another incident occurred where a drunk driver stabbed a 47-year-old man. In that case, the Investigation Department under the Chinoz district internal affairs department launched a criminal case under Article 104 (Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm) Part 3, Clause "d" of the Criminal Code, and the suspect was also detained under Article 221.
