Traffic restrictions enforced for ‘Bunyodkor’ Stadium event

Today, March 20, certain streets in Tashkent will be temporarily closed due to the Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan match, part of the 7th round of Group "A" in the 3rd stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. The Tashkent City Internal Affairs Traffic Safety Department has announced these restrictions.

According to the report, the closures will affect the following areas:

• The stretch from the Chilonzor and Choponota Streets intersection to the Choponota-Qatortol Streets intersection.
• The section of Bunyodkor secondary street leads to Choponota Street.

These restrictions will be in effect from 5:00 PM to 11:30 PM local time, during which traffic will be temporarily halted for vehicles.

Previously, the Uzbekistan Football Association and Tashkent City DIA urged fans attending the game at "Bunyodkor" Stadium to adhere to public order and maintain proper fan etiquette.
