6865In the Tashkent region, a 26-year-old man assaulted an ambulance doctor who responded to a call. This incident was reported by the Tashkent district administration.
On June 1 at 4:35 p.m., a call was received from J.O., born in 1998, residing on Dilkash Street, Tashkent district, complaining of a headache. By 4:39 p.m., the call was dispatched to the nearest "Yangiobod" brigade. A team, comprising a doctor and a paramedic, arrived at the location at 4:45 p.m. The patient reported experiencing headaches, restlessness, and general weakness and was undergoing treatment for kidney disease.
The doctor instructed the paramedic to prepare a painkiller injection. While questioning the patient about his additional ailments, the patient abruptly said, "Who are you, do your work faster," and then punched the doctor in the face. The doctor sustained bleeding from the lip and lower jaw area and was temporarily stunned. The regional prevention inspector was notified of the situation.
The doctor was transported to the TTA-3 Maxillofacial Surgery Department by another brigade. The bleeding was controlled, and the wound was sutured. The doctor returned to work but soon began experiencing headaches, dizziness, nausea, and general weakness, leading to immediate hospitalization at the TTA-2 clinic. He was admitted to the neurosurgery department at 11:45 p.m. with a diagnosis of "closed brain injury, concussion, stitched wound in the right lower lip area, and soft tissue laceration in the right lower jaw." The doctor is currently receiving treatment in the department.
"If the doctor decides to file a complaint with the relevant authorities, a criminal case will be initiated against the assailant," the statement reads.
It is worth noting that a similar incident occurred earlier when the chief doctor was stabbed at Quvasoy Hospital.
