9747Reports have surfaced on social media claiming that Tashkent’s emergency medical team transported a patient to several medical facilities over four hours, eventually leaving the individual in the hallway of a multi-story building. The Republican Emergency Medical Center has since issued a statement addressing the incident.
According to the statement, the patient, M.B. (born in 1953, with no home or permanent address), had made multiple calls for emergency medical services since February 23, 2025, and received assistance each time.
Additionally, M.B. was taken to City Clinical Hospitals No. 4 and No. 1 multiple times. On March 6 alone, four calls were made on M.B.'s behalf, and medical services were provided in each case.
First Call (10:53 AM): A resident at Bozsuv 1/21 address called for assistance. The emergency team arrived promptly, conducted an initial medical examination, and transported the patient to City Clinical Hospital No. 1. After no emergency condition was found and due to the lack of a specific residential address, the team notified the 102 police service and returned the patient to the initial address.
Second Call (1:34 PM): An officer of the Internal Affairs Department (DIA) called for assistance at the same Bozsuv address. The situation unfolded similarly, but this time, the patient provided a new address (Buyuk Ipak Yoli Street, 421). Coordination was carried out with the chief doctor of the “Call Center” and officers from 112 and 102 services, and the patient was transported to the indicated location.
Third Call (7:48 PM): A passerby called for assistance at the Buyuk Ipak Yoli Street, 421 address. The team arrived promptly, examined the patient, and determined no emergency condition. The patient was left at the same location.
Fourth Call (8:31 PM): An DIA officer called again for assistance at the same address. The emergency team responded quickly, conducted another medical examination, and transported the patient back to City Clinical Hospital No. 1 upon the officer’s suggestion. Specialists diagnosed the patient with “right-sided breast abscess,” and M.B. was admitted to the hospital.
The statement also clarified that M.B. is currently receiving planned treatment at the Tashkent branch of the Republican Specialized Oncology and Radiology Center.
