A man engaged in the illegal sale of pyrotechnics was detained near the Chorsu "Eski Juva" peasant market in the Shaykhontohur district of Tashkent. The detention was confirmed by the National Guard Department of the capital.

The individual was escorted to a specially equipped bus for identity verification. It was later determined that he was R.Sh., born in 1985, a resident of the "Bobur" neighborhood in Urgench, Khorezm region. During an inspection conducted with the presence of witnesses, law enforcement officials discovered eight boxes labeled "Treniya" and two boxes labeled "Noviy Vek" containing a total of 560 pyrotechnic items. A report was filed as per the established procedure.

It is important to note that in 2009, the Uzbek government issued a decree prohibiting the import, production, transportation, storage, sale, and use of pyrotechnics within the country. The illegal production, storage, transportation, or sale of pyrotechnic products, including their illegal import or export, carries a fine ranging from 1.7 million to 6.8 million soums, along with the confiscation of the products involved in the offense.

Furthermore, violations related to advertising pyrotechnic products, weapons, ammunition, or military items are subject to a fine of 50 times the minimum wage, amounting to 17 million soums.
