A video of the incident, which took place on May 16, recently surfaced on social media, prompting a response from the Children's Ombudsman.
According to the report, the altercation occurred after the student, identified as J.M. (born in 2007), repeatedly failed to prepare for class despite several warnings from the teacher, M.A. (born in 1997). This led to a disagreement, during which the teacher struck the student in the face.
The incident is currently under investigation, with authorities reviewing the details and planning further action. Additional information is expected as the inquiry continues.
This follows a recent incident at School No. 32 in Karshi, Kashkadarya region, where a teacher and a student quarreled during a lesson. That case was investigated by the Karshi Internal Affairs Department and subsequently sent to court on charges of petty hooliganism under Article 183 of the Administrative Responsibility Code.
