Mother brutally beat her 4-year-old daughter

In the Chirchik district of the Tashkent region, it was found that a mother brutally beat her 4-year-old daughter and caused serious bodily injury. The Children's Ombudsman commented on this case.

Based on the request of the Children's Ombudsman, the internal affairs bodies established that on December 23 of this year, a girl born in 2020, Y.M., was admitted to the Bostanlyk district medical association of the Tashkent region with various injuries to her body.

As a result of the preliminary investigation into the case, it was found that a 47-year-old woman severely beat her 4-year-old daughter and caused her bodily injury. According to the medical report, the child had a closed head injury, severe concussion, and other serious injuries to the head.

Today, December 27, the Chirchik city police department of the Tashkent region opened a criminal case against E.Y. under Article 126, Part 1, Clause 7, “b” of the Criminal Code (domestic violence).

It is reported that preliminary investigation is currently underway. Additional information on the case will be provided.

It should be noted that earlier in the Surkhandarya region, a criminal case was opened against a mother who physically abused her child and caused bodily harm. This case was investigated by the Surkhandarya regional prosecutor's office at the request of the Children's Ombudsman, and as a result of a pre-investigation investigation conducted by the Termez city police department (based on the conclusion of a forensic examination), it was found that the woman had beaten her minor child and caused bodily harm.

On December 19 of this year, a criminal case was opened against the woman under Article 126, Paragraph 1 (Domestic Violence) of the Criminal Code, and preliminary investigations are currently underway.
