In Tashkent, the movement of vehicles weighing more than 10 tons is restricted during peak hours. This restriction is outlined in the Presidential decree on the state program for the implementation of the 'Uzbekistan-2030' strategy under the theme 'Supporting Youth and Business'.

Starting from March 1st, the movement of motor vehicles falling under categories N2, N3, and O4, intended for cargo transportation and with a permissible total weight of more than 10 tons, will be prohibited during specific time intervals. However, these restrictions do not apply to special service vehicles, which include utility, landscaping, and Armed Forces cargo vehicles.

Furthermore, as part of our country's efforts to combat dust storms and mitigate their negative impacts, a system will be implemented to warn citizens with cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, as well as those highly sensitive to air pollution, when fine dispersed particles in the air exceed the established norm during dust storms. Continuous notification about necessary preventive measures will be established.

Moreover, by 2030, mandatory requirements will be enforced to eliminate dust and sand particles emanating from construction sites larger than 500 square meters, as well as from access roads. Additionally, the decree states that the operation of vehicles below 'EURO-5' standards will gradually be restricted in Tashkent, Nukus, and regional centers.
