Borders of three regions of Uzbekistan will change

50834Changes are planned for the border areas of the Tashkent region with the Syrdarya and Namangan regions, as reported by the Tashkent regional government.
During the upcoming session of the Council of People's Deputies of the Tashkent Region, the presentation of a draft resolution by the Tashkent Region Administration of the Cadastre Agency outlined the following proposed changes to align inter-regional border lines:
- Transfer of 310.4 hectares of land from 5 regions of the Syrdarya region (Syrdarya, Saykhunabad, Gulistan, Boyovut districts, and Shirin city) to the Tashkent region.
- Transfer of 347.2 hectares of land from 6 regions of the Tashkent region (Chinoz, Kuyi Chirchik, Okkurgon, Buka, Bekobod districts, and Bekobod city) to the Syrdarya region (a difference of 36.8 hectares).
- Transfer of a total of 38.8 hectares of land from the Pop district of the Namangan region to the Tashkent region.
- Transfer of a total of 26.3 hectares of land from the Ohangaron district of the Tashkent region to the Namangan region (a difference of 12.5 hectares).
