Individuals who promised to obtain driver's licenses without examinations were caught

3895In the Syrdarya, Navoi, and Tashkent regions, individuals who promised to secure driver's licenses without requiring attendance at training courses have been apprehended. This information was reported by the press service of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor's Office.
It was noted that citizen Sh.A. entrusted D.A. with securing a driver's license without attending training courses for a payment of 1,400 US dollars, allegedly through his acquaintances. He was apprehended with physical evidence after receiving an advance payment of 300 US dollars and 1.2 million sums.
Similarly, citizen Ch.Ya. was caught with physical evidence after accepting 15 million sums in exchange for a driver's license.
In another instance, citizen G.T., who had previously been convicted of fraud, was apprehended during a swift operation conducted in cooperation with the Yangiyol City Department and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He was found with physical evidence after receiving 900 US dollars in exchange for providing a driver's license to H.M. through his acquaintances, again without the required training.
Criminal cases have been initiated in connection with these incidents under Article 168 (Fraud) and Article 28, 211 (Bribery) of the Criminal Code, and investigations are ongoing.
It is worth noting that similar incidents had previously occurred in Navoi, Fergana, and Samarkand, where individuals promising to secure driver's licenses were also apprehended.
