Lacetti collides with a concrete structure, resulting death of a driver and a passenger in Tashkent

Today, July 25, a driver and a passenger died instantly after their Lacetti collided with a concrete structure in Tashkent. This was reported by the Traffic Safety Department of Tashkent City MDIA.

According to the report, at 00:30 near 38 Shahrisabz Street, Mirobod district, the driver A.K., born in 2005, lost control of his Lacetti, resulting in a collision with a concrete pillar on the roadside.

As a result of the accident, the 19-year-old driver and an 18-year-old passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. Additionally, three other passengers, A.I., born in 2006, Z.I., born in 2005, and D.K., born in 2005, sustained various injuries and were hospitalized.

"A criminal case has been initiated by the Investigative Department of the Tashkent City MDIA under Article 266, Part 3 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The investigation is ongoing," the report stated.

It should be noted that eight people were killed in a recent traffic accident in the Qongirot district of Karakalpakstan.
