9-year-old girl was fatally struck by BYD car in Tashkent

On September 19, a tragic accident occurred in Tashkent, where a BYD car hit a 9-year-old student. The incident was reported by the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent city.
The accident took place at 1:45 p.m. on Fayzli Street in the Sergeli district. The driver, born in 1983 and identified as M.A., struck L.S., a young pedestrian born in 2015.
The child was rushed to a medical facility but, unfortunately, succumbed to her injuries.
A criminal case has been opened under Article 266, Part 2 of the Criminal Code, which addresses violations of traffic safety regulations. The investigation is ongoing.
This follows an earlier accident involving three vehicles in Tashkent.
