The news spread on social networks that a 6th-grade student of School 259 in Yunusabad district died during a physical education lesson. The Preschool and School Education Department of Tashkent city has confirmed this situation.
"On October 6, 2023, at approximately 11:10 a.m., at General Education School No. 259 in Yunusabad district, during the 4th hour of a physical education class in the 6th "D" class, as part of the annual work plan of the physical education teacher M.K., there was a football practice. During a lesson on the subject of "Movement with the ball," the student of this class, born on March 23, 2011, M.S., lost consciousness after a ball hit his chest," the official statement says.
It is reported that the student was immediately taken to Hospital No. 7 in the district. Despite the emergency medical care provided by the doctors, student M.S. died.
According to the preliminary conclusion of the forensic medical examination, M.S. was diagnosed with reflex cardiac arrest, acute cardiovascular and respiratory failure, brain and lung tumor, cardiac hypertrophy, and congenital heart defect.
