A section of "O‘zbekiston Ovozi" Street in Mirzo Ulugbek District will be closed for more than a month, according to the district administration.
The closure, scheduled from April 24 to May 30, 2025, is due to major infrastructure upgrades on "O‘zbekiston Ovozi" Street, transforming it into a 24/7 pedestrian-friendly zone that aligns with urban planning standards. As a result, the segment between Yahyo Gulomov Street and Shahrisabz Street will be temporarily inaccessible to vehicle traffic.

Earlier, on April 13, the New Uzbekiston Avenue surrounding the Olympic Village was closed for nearly five months due to underground tunnel construction. Additionally, Turkkorgan Street in Shaykhontohur District was partially closed to ensure stable energy resource supply for consumers.
