A Damas Vehicle Hits Two Schoolgirls in Tashkent Region

A Damas car hit two 14-year-od schoolchildren in the city of Olmalik, Tashkent region. A video of the incident, widely circulated on social networks, shows the two girls lying in a distressing condition on the road after the car accident.  The press service of the Prosecutor General's Office has provided information regarding the incident.

According to the report, on the 15th of May this year, a 19 year old man named S.X., residing in the city of Olmaliq, Tashkent region, was driving a Damas car when he collided with the two 14 year old schoolchildren while they were crossing the "Tinchlik" road, resulting in a traffic accident.  As a result of the collision, the pedestrians sustained injuries and were immediately transported to the central hospital in Almalyk city to receive medical assistance. 

In response to this incident, a court-appointed medical examination has been scheduled to gather further evidence.  The ongoing investigation is being carried out by the Department of Internal Affairs of Olmaliq district.  The General Prosecutor's Office had been overseeing the investigation prior to its transfer to the current department.
